🎬 Accessing Shooting Modes

To get started, turn on the Osmo Pocket 3 and tap the icon in the bottom-left corner of the touchscreen. You’ll see six core modes, each designed for different types of content:

  • 📸 Panorama – For capturing stunning, ultra-wide scenic views
  • 🖼 Photo – Snap high-quality still images
  • 🎥 Video – Your everyday mode for recording standard footage
  • 🌙 Low Light – Ideal for shooting in dim or challenging lighting
  • 🐢 Slow Motion – Capture smooth, high-frame-rate footage to slow down in post
  • ⏱ Timelapse – Compress long moments into short, cinematic clips

⚙️ Adjusting Video Settings

Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen to access parameter settings. Here, you can control:

  • Resolution – We recommend 4K for best quality.

If upload speeds or file size are a concern, choose 2.7K (the default) or 1080p.

  • Frame Rate (fps) – For most situations, 25fps is ideal.
  • Slow Motion – Select 50 or 60fps, and leave a note in your Shootsta project brief asking your editor to slow it down in post-production.

🎛️ Want More Control? Activate Pro Mode

Swipe left to enable Pro Mode, where you can dial in more advanced settings like:

  • Exposure
  • White Balance
  • Colour Profile
  • Focus Mode
  • Sharpness and Contrast Adjustments

These tools are great for customising the look and feel of your footage. But if you’re not sure where to start, don’t worry—Auto Mode is enabled by default for a seamless shooting experience.
