Turn Your Video Plan into a Video Brief

Before submitting your footage for editing, update your video plan, upload all relevant materials, and provide additional information in the briefing section

And that's a wrap! Your planning is done, your video is shot, and now it’s time for editing. It’s as simple as uploading your video plan and relevant footage to Shootsta, where your editing team can bring your vision to life. But before you do, there are three things you need to do:

1. Update Your Video Plan

During filming, there might be changes from the initial plan, such as script amendments or additional footage. Take a moment to update your video plan with these changes. Note any specific moments or takes that you love so your editor won’t miss them. You can do this either in the comments section after uploading your video clips or by copying the file name into your video plan.

2. Upload All Relevant Footage and Plans

Inside your project, upload the footage you want to be included in your video, along with your updated Video Plan and any other planning information that might help the editors. This ensures they have everything they need to work efficiently.

3. Leave Additional Information in the Briefing Section

Include any other relevant information about the project in the briefing section. If you’ve planned well, this should be easy. Provide details such as your presenter’s name and title or the tone and mood of your video if not already included in your plan.
